7Gen Live College and career fairs

Thanks to a grant from the American Indian College Fund, REDCO and Sicangu CDC were able to team up to present a two-part Youth Empowerment Series for high school students and recent graduates.

Students who watch the recording and complete the post survey will earn $50 for each session, for a total of $100.

Yes, that's right... get paid to learn about education and career opportunities.

The links to the videos can be found below, along with the survey link to complete afterwards.

Videos

This recording of the 7Gen Live Virtual College Fair features speakers from Native Pathways, RST Tribal Education, South Dakota State University - Wokini Initiative, Western Dakota Tech, University of Minnesota-Morris, Fort Lewis College, and Sinte Gleksa University. Rosebud students can earn a stipend for watching the video and meeting these eligibility requirements:

1) be a high school junior or senior at Saint Francis Indian School, Todd County, or White River (students who transferred due to COVID are eligible and should state that in their pre-survey) OR a recent graduate whose college plans were altered due to COVID

2) register or already have an student account with American Indian College Fund (it's free and gives you access to great resources!) here: www.collegefund.org/studentportal

3) be an enrolled citizen of a Native Nation or eligible for and pursuing citizenship

4) complete this post-survey from Sicangu CDC/REDCO: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfBtM85-eBmd_pvysa9JJ5XKyCtg82Enl2_pGiRolGeUp0xaA/viewform
